Two of hard rock's most iconic bands, Deep Purple and Judas Priest, will hit the road this summer for a 25-city co-headlining North American tour slated to kick off on Aug. 21 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Live Nation-promoted outing is scheduled to run through a Sept. 30 date at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland, California.
"Smoke on the Water" legends Deep Purple are promoting their most recent studio album, 2017's inFinite, produced by rock legend Bob Ezrin and featuring the current line-up, which includes singer Ian Gillan, guitarist Steve Morse and bassist Roger Glover. Long-running English metal act Judas Priest released Firepower in March, which featured their highest-charting commercial rock radio single in decades, "Lightning Strikes."
