Happy Easter. Cover your eggs! We could see some snow flurries dropping in for the holiday and if you're on the road, you'll want to keep an eye on conditions.
They heavier snow in Nebraska will largely be to the south and west of the metro.
Several inches could be on tap for Lincoln and points west.
The Capital City had 20 on the street early Sunday morning to continue pre-treatment of emergency snow routes and arterial streets with anti-ice brine. That was anticipated to be wrapped up by 6 a.m. with crews remaining on patrol to monitor street conditions. Plow crews are on standby and ready to deploy should conditions warrant.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 4 p.m. today for the Lincoln area. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible. Driving conditions were normal as daybreak approached but drivers drivers are urged use caution as snow develops.
Additional information is available on the City website.

Over in Wisconsin...
Parts of central Wisconsin saw up to 9 inches of snow roll in with the holiday weekend. It put a wet, white lid on plans for Easter Egg hunts and other festivities.
Greg Seubert lives in the middle of all that and while he said, "I was really hoping get my camper out today," he did preface it with, "This is part of living in Wisconsin."
And Up in Fargo...
Children had to bundle up in warm coats and rubber boots for an Easter egg hunt in North Dakota, after a storm left up to five inches of snow on the ground.
The 28th annual Easter "eggstravaganza" at Yunker Farm in Fargo Saturday went off despite the snow and temperature of 15 degrees (-9 Celsius). Luckily for the children, the Easter eggs were brightly colored so they stood out amid the early spring white carpet.
The snow and cold didn't seem to dampen the spirits of the kids, who stomped through the snow with broad smiles to find the Easter treats.
The farm also offered spring crafts, egg coloring and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
