Here’s the thing: I’m not rich, and so I have no idea what I would spend my money on if I were.
I like to think I would create a nice home for myself and donate a ton of money to charity and call it a day. But my definition of what constitutes a “nice home” is probably still pretty low-class.
Perhaps I could update my wardrobe, follow all the current fashion trends and become well-dressed for once in my life. But if well-dressed means paying close to $200 to wear this ridiculous piece of clothing (if you can call it that), feel free to count me out.
Ripped and frayed jeans are by no means out of the ordinary in the fashion world and with regular, everyday people. But when it comes to Carmar’s “Extreme Cut Out Jean,” there are literally more holes than actual clothing. In fact, to actually cover yourself up, you’ll have to wear a one-piece bathing suit underneath.
Described as a “high rise pant with large statement cutouts on front and back,” these jeans look more like a joke than a real product for sale. But they’re real, alright — and they’ll cost you $168.

Fortunately, plenty of Twitter users have retained their sanity, which is more than we can say for the people who’ve already ordered the jeans.
Such stoopid design of jeans pants by Carmar Denim. Legit stoopid shyt— ◢◤ Genji! ◢◤ (@Officialz_Ammar) 3 mai 2018
Some pointed out you could just replicate the look for a fraction of the price by grabbing a pair of jeans and scissors and going crazy.
Who needs these jeans when you have a cheating partner, you can cut them up yourself#Carmar pic.twitter.com/IPGVSdGZsJ— Carmel (@Carmel_Kazemi) 1 mai 2018
Apparently, being an idiot can get expensive.
Well, there you have it, folks. An incredibly expensive pair of jeans that won’t cover anything. Like I said before, I’m not rich — but if I was, I wouldn’t spend a penny on these.Surely there are cheaper ways to look like an idiot? https://t.co/R6cvbpCE3U— Lorraine Murphy (@LorRadioMurphy) 2 mai 2018
