What road closures are in place for the London Marathon?
There will be 32 road closures across London during the course of the marathon.
The course starts in Greenwich Park and continues throughout London.
As always, it will finish on The Mall.
Virgin has created an interactive map of the closures.
Closures started as early as 6am in some places and will be in place until as early 12pm but in some places as late as 7pm.
Between the closure hours, any busses that would have intervened in the route will be put on diversion - for up to date bus alerts check TfL Bus alerts.
The DLR canceled their strike this weekend which means public transport will hopefully move a little more smoothly.
When is the 2018 London Marathon?
The London Marathon will take place TODAY, Sunday, April 22.
The Elite Wheelchair races started at 8.55am followed by the World Para Athletics Marathon World Cup ambulant races at 9am.
The Elite women's race set off at 9.15am.
The men's Elite race and mass race starts at 10am.
It's estimated that this could be one of the hottest London Marathons ever.
