Ali Mohamed Ali, 39, faces one count each of disorderly conduct, obscenity and failure to comply with requirements of the state’s sex offender registry.
According to the Farmington Hills Police Department, officers were called to the Tim Hortons on 10 Mile Road on April 2 after Ali was reportedly seen rubbing himself with his hands in his pants. Several patrons were in the restaurant at the time.
A manager had asked him to leave and he wouldn’t, so police were contacted.
Ali has a 2014 conviction for fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct out of Kent County. He served 30 months in prison and was released last November. Due to his conviction, he’s required to register his address with the sex offender registry through 2042 but has failed to do so.
